Welcome to my little websight

This Web site features my own cars and general tips for car care that someone (not me) gathered from research and from experience.

My truck and bikes

I've owned a few trucks only two cars and a slew of motorcycles in my short time on this rock. So far I've picked up a few things here and there. I don't believe in paying someone to do work for me, I work (or have worked, lol) hard for the little bit of money I have and would rather keep it to myself. I have been riding street bikes for 10 years but just got into the sportbike scene last year when my good friend Shawn talked me into joining them for their rides in these beautiful So-Cal mountains. I got hooked quickly and balooned from there. Now I own a Suzuki TL1000S with a few little mods, have a top of the line Arai helmet and full leathers. My wife doesn't even want to watch me ride anymore, scares the hell out of her.
Now I'm getting the show truck bug again, so I'll be doing some work to the Nissan. Killer stereo with two LED monitors in the headrests, a small lift and just maybe a set of 33" tires. It will most likely end up with a supercharger by next year and an exhaust in the next couple weeks. I'll keep the sight up to date.

Keeping Your Car Cool

Did you know that in 95 degree heat, the air in your car reaches approximately 146 degrees and the steering wheel can reach 158 degrees? So what can you do about it? First, you can tint your car windows. Clear glass magnifies the sun and intensifies the heat. If that's too expensive, buy manual sunshades

Washing and Waxing Tips

Most cars now come with a clearcoat finish, which tricks owners into thinking they don't need wax. Actually, you should wax your car 3-4 times a year. Most manufacturers also recommend washing your car once a week. Remember to start washing your car only when the car's surface is cool and only after rinsing the entire car. Rub gently, one section at a time, and use specific car wash products--never household cleaners. After rinsing your car well, dry it with a soft, clean cloth.

Crew Cab advantages
My little Crew Cab may not look huge but believe me, it is just as roomy as my old Isuzu Rodeo. It also has a cargo box that will actually hold my Streetbike. Mini-truck for the family man.

The wheels on it are Concept Neeper Aliens, 16X8in.

The tires(for now) are the factory General Grabber AW 255/65 R16. They will probably magically turn into 31" or 33" this next spring if not before.
